House Prices 2006: Dublin V the rest of Ireland
Stronger growth was recorded in Dublin compared to average growth outside of Dublin, with the Average House Price Growth Rates at 15.9% in Dublin and 10.9% in the Rest of the Country. However there were some areas outside of Dublin, which stood out. The Average House Price Growth in the Commuter Counties of Louth, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow stood at 15.2% for 2006, which is very close to those in the Dublin area. County Leitrim however, experienced a truly remarkable growth rate of 29% in 2006, completely surpassing rates seen anywhere else in the country.
