David Duffy of the ESRI presents at ERA Ireland BCM
At the recent ERA Ireland Broker Council Meeting in Limerick, Dr David Duffy of the ESRI presented a clear rationale as to how the key economic indicators look to remain strong. A combination of steadying interest rates, lower housing starts / supply and forecasted growth rates of 3-4% for 2008 and 2009 should underpin the Irish property market. He asserts that the Irish Property market is experiencing a much needed correction and should see demand for houses pick up as we enter into 2008 as confidence comes back into the market.
