Year on Year National Price Growth Statistics
Recent ESRI Statistics show that national house price growth between May 2005 and May 2006 was 14.5.%, which is more than twice that recorded in the same 12 month period the previous year (6.6%). Year on year house prices to May 06 increased by 14.9% in Dublin and 14.3% outside of Dublin. Significant price growth (15.7%) has also been recorded in the Commuter counties (Louth, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow) for the same time period.
